Christ Said,

"For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me... to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.

SHORT/LONG TERM GOALS

The physical needs are the most pressing: helping to provide safe drinking water to the victims, food shelter, clothing and medicaine. This is the first step in helping a village or community start the rebuilding process.

Intermediate needs, will be to comfort those who lost family and are suffering psychologically from the devastations. Within six months, a small team from our community should be on the ground, working with national missionaries and churches to provide hope and Christian literature.

Long-term, opportunities would be available for helping to rebuild schools, homes, churches and orphanage. All efforts would be driven by compassion for the victims with a desire to earn the right to share the message of God's love, to help make sense out of calamity.
