HOPE FOR THE SUFFERING
"Sharing God's Love"
Hope for the Suffering is a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to sharing the word of God to those in need. Established in Valdosta, Georgia in 1982 by Dr. Livingstone A. Rasalam, Hope for the Suffering helped needy children in Africa, South America, and some western countries. After his mother, Janet E. Rasalam, came to visit from India in 1983, she decided to start a branch of Hope for the Suffering in her husband, Dr. John Edward Rasalam's, office. As Hope for the Suffering grew in both India and the United States, donations were given in the form of presents to children for Christmas and Easter, and, most importantly, teaching the children and their parents to raise their children to love God. Hope for the Suffering continues today to help those in need.
